Fáilte, Welcome to the web site of the South Kildare Beekeepers Association.  S.K.B.A.            
We usually meet  on the first Thursday of every month, in the Athy Church of Ireland  Centre, Janeville, Offaly Street at 7.30pm. Lectures, presentations, demonstrations and workshops are given at these meetings by our own beekeepers and by guest speakers.  The Association apiaries  at Kilberry and Barley Hill are of particular benefit to beginners, where they gain experience in handling bees under the watchful eyes of  members.  
Books from the library are available to all members on a monthly basis
